Since we started with the Weekly Watch Photo in January of this year, we have published 49 Weekly Watch Photos here at my bolg. Today’s Weekly Watch Photo is number 50 and it is the most sexy ‘lume shot’ of them all.
We found this Weekly Watch Photo on Tumblr and could not find the photographer of this photo. Yet we wish to pay respect to his or her photographic skills and sense of style for shooting this magnificent lume shot. We just love lume shots and already showed you gorgeous lume shots of a Cheap Fake Rolex Deepsea Sea-Dweller and Hautlence Hl Ti 2.
A lume shot is a photo that shows how the luminous material used on hands and markers, while it is luminescent. Luminous material, often Super Luminova, is used for making it possible to read the time during dim light. Most dive watches, like the Replica Rolex Sea-Dweller Watches have quite strong luminescent material.
This particular Sea-Dweller is a ref. 16600, which is made from 1986 to 2008, and was replaced by the bigger and thicker Deepsea Sea-Dweller. In 2004 the Sea-Dweller ref.16600 changed for ref.16600A, when Replica Rolex Watches decided to produce it without the pin holes in the lugs. Many collectors still prefer the ones with pin holes, which is kind of strange when you consider that the more rare a watch is, the more desirable it is. The Sea-Dweller ref.16600A (without pin holes) was only produced from 2004 to 2008, when production of the Sea-Dweller was stopped. Gerard wrote a nice post about the preference for with or without pin holes at his blog In2Watches.
